Tale of a broken iPod - or “How I wasted $10.00″!

OK, I admit it…I like checking out flea markets, swap meets and yard sales. It’s not just that you can sometimes find some cool stuff pretty cheap, but it’s also a way to study human nature. It’s interesting to see what kinds of stuff various ethnic groups and income brackets consider flea market, swap meet or yard sale material. I’ve also come to the conclusion that you’re more likely to get “scammed” at a flea market or swap meet than you are a yard sale, maybe it has something to do with the fact that you know where they live eh?

Anyways, on to my most recent non-bargain, LOL!

I was roaming among the aisles at my local swap meet (Tanque Verde Swap Meet) when I spied a 20 Gig 3rd Gen Apple iPod! And of course being the iPod junkie I am I naturally inquired as to the price and if it worked.

**Seller** Oh Hey, yeah it works, it just needs charged. Gimme 15 bucks?

**Me** I’ll give ya 10 bucks, that way I’m not out much if it won’t power up.

**Seller** MMMM, allright I guess…

Of course you know what I suspected all along. Yep, it’s shot! The poor iPod will power up when plugged directly into a power source but won’t boot up and no amount of resets will bring the poor beastie back to life.

So now I’m stuck with a dilemma. Is a 3rd Gen iPod worth bringing back to life or should I just dump it on eBay as spare parts?

We become silent - The Last Days Of Health Freedom

The United States of America continues down the slippery slope of globalization, and the “Codex Alimentarius” is just one more step that is being taken down the road to usurping the sovereignty of the US.

The “Codex Alimentarius” would force a world-wide standard on the citizens of the United States that would restrict our freedom of choice, jeopardize our health, and make many affordable and safe holistic treatments unavailable for the masses that desperately need safe alternatives to modern medicine.

I myself, diagnosed with high levels of Uric Acid, take a natural dietary supplement called Gout Cure that controls my Uric Acid levels without having to resort to the usage of toxic prescription medications. It will be a sad day when we will no longer be allowed to go to our local Rite-Aid, Walgreens, or Wal-mart and purchase something as innocuous as “Vitamin C” without a prescription from a doctor…

View this important video that exposes the “Codex Alimentarius” conspiracy, We become silent - The Last Days Of Health Freedom.
